some urban impressions...

when you look into your familiar surroundings really "intensely", sometimes pretty interesting details would just pop up...

"splash" or "dandelions" (hk zoological & botanical garden)

"corrosion / urban decay" (swatow street)

"dazzled" (jardine bazaar, causeway bay)

"a summer rainy day" (queen's road east)

"typhoon signal #8" (ice house street, central)

though I'm not really a religious person, I did feel purified after a moment inside this oldest church in Hong Kong...

shanghai trip 2008

... weather wasn't good at all and my schedule pretty tight, yet I found the life around so vivid and the environment (especially the "harmonious contrast" between old and new) so exciting that I couldn't help taking as many shots as possible... I somehow felt like a child looking at a new world for the first time.:-)
