About Me
- Name: hugo poon
- Location: Hong Kong
I do not regard myself as a photographer, not even amateur; I'm just a guy who enjoys capturing all the memorable scenes that I encounter in my life, my everyday life, with whatever photo machine I've got. Perhaps, it's like a traveller hoping to record his memorable journey, but in my case, it's the journey of my life ...

Congratulations Hugo on the exibition.
Where is it being held?
Thank you so much Matthew. It's nice to hear from you again!
How time flies... it was actually held in June but it's really like yesterday. It's held at a gallery in the podium of C C Wu Building (Wanchai). By the way, it's also the first time I had my pics printed out that large - 12"x18"; 'wow' was my first reaction... :-)
Take care,
Hugo
PS. It's very sad to see the Star Ferry Pier in Central finally coming to an end last Saturday.
The Star Ferry port has finaly closed now, so is the new one fully built and operational. I might have a photo assignment for you. Could you post a picture of the new pier sometime please. Would be interested in how it looks.
Thanks
Matt
PS I've been mounting some photos recently on canvas and next weekend I'm going to be showing them at our village craft fair, not quite a exhibition but still exciting, who knows I might even be able to sell some. It is great how your pictures look on a large scale, (although it does make you want to go out and buy a more powerful camera so you can print even larger).
