the star ferry ...


Founded in 1888, the Star Ferry is not only the oldest but also the most efficient, relaxing and yet inexpensive mode of crossing the Victoria Harbour. To me, it's also an important link to the memories of the old days, especially when I was a schoolboy and doing funny things on the ferry with schoolmates everyday ...

"Hey, are you coming ..."
My daughter hurried me to leave and I responded to her. But I was instantly captured by this night scene and I had to get a shot. The light was so dim that I knew I had to use the ISO1600 of my little photo machine; anyway, I decided to give it a try ... it turned out to be my favourite ISO1600 shot! :-)
