Hi Hugo,

the second shot is a cracker! I do enjoy abstract image making.

Winter truly isn't over in the UK (and most of north-west Europe) this weekend. Many parts are forecast to have arctic winds and snow... If it gets really bad I might even venture out to get some snaps.

Thanks Ian!:-)

I'm pleased that I captured (or was captured by) the second shot - I loved the sight at first glance... BTW, I bet you'll never guess where I got this...... Disneyland!!!

So, I did listen to your advice - took one day off on Thursday and visited the Disneyland with my family.:-)

Wish you a very enjoyable weekend. Can't wait to see your "bad weather shots"!

Take care,
Hugo

PS. I do enjoy abstract image too but sometimes I wonder if I'm interested in too widely varied subjects...

Unfortunately the snow didn't do any damage in London, its just dull damp and too 'flat' to warrant going out to take some photos.

Glad you got to take a day off. How about you book a couple of weeks off in the summer? Something to look forward to, and maybe get away from the humidity (less stressful). You'll feel better for it, trust me ;o)

There are no rules on what type of subject you should favour - I just 'like what I like'. But it can be difficult to think in all ways when out shooting. And I guess there's no reason not to be fixed to your 'own style' [ie; a 'Hugotype'] - as the reason we enjoy photography so much is because we love to experiment and discover new means to an end.

Have a nice week.

Thanks again Ian!

Gonna post some more abstracts - abstracts of the rain. Hope you'll enjoy...:-)

Best regards,
Hugo
