raindrops keep falling ...

... last saturday we had the first shower of this spring. I was trapped outside the City Hall. Some raindrops kept falling on the skylight, caught my eyes and the song came to my mind...
"... but there's one thing I know. the blues they send to meet me won't defeat me. it won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me. raindrops keep fallin' on my head. But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red. cryin's not for me' cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin' because I'm free. nothin's worryin' me... "

Even more abstracts - and such a dramatic subject... excellent!

If the camera was waterproof, you could get out in it and start singing and dancing (shooting the splashes as you go) :o)

The forecast is for a wet week in HK, so you have even more opportunities...

Take care,

Ian

Hi Ian,

Glad you like these too!:-)

You know what? I was almost crazy enough to have bought an F11 waterproof case for bad weather shooting but it was far too costly - almost half the price of the camera...

See you and take care,

Hugo

Hi,

I chanced upon your blog while looking for reviews on finepix s100fs.

Just want to tell you how much I love your photos and how I wish one day I could be as good as you. Yes! I am your fan from Singapore! ;-)

Just bought the camera (finepix s100fs) and having fun with it. (but my photos are far from being nice ..)

Do continue to post more photos as I look forward to seeing them everyday.

Regards,

Dear Torng,

I keep asking myself why, despite the terribly busy day job, I continue squeezing any opportunity to review, process and post all these pics. Of course, I admit I enjoy "showing off" my favourites and love sharing my joy with any friends dropping by. But an even stronger drive behind is that I truly hope that my pics could help people realise that having fun in this photography thing didn't require expensive or highly sophisticated equipments (and formal training too)...

Thanks for reinforcing my belief!

Have fun and take care,
Hugo

Thanks Danny!

When you look into your familiar surroundings really 'intensely', sometimes pretty interesting details would just pop up...

Have an enjoyable weekend!:-)

These semi-abstract shots of yours are excellent!

Personally I love experimenting with different types of photography....it's so exciting and refreshing to try new things.
