some cityscapes ...

AIG Tower

harmony in the contrast?

Peel Street

Three Pacific Place & Hopewell Centre

Connaught Road Central

These were compiled and posted on the FTF as Part II of the "two weeks with the F100"... Delighted to say that squeezing all these pics within such a short period, under the pressure of the daily routine, has been in fact one of my recent biggest refreshments.:-)

Just have to say the Peel Street one is just brilliant. The old fashioned and brightly modern contrast is fantastic :-)

Thanks alot Fiona! Yes, Peel Street is amazingly photogenic... a street I never seem to be able to finish photographing. Every time I was about to prepare a post on it, it had to be postponed because some new shots were taken awaiting editing and processing.:-)

See you and take care,
Hugo

Of these particular five images Hugo, the Peel Street one is my favourite....that lone figure makes it so special!

Thanks Ian!

Well, you must be very familiar with that "trick" of mine - no matter how intriguing a scene might be, I'll wait at least a little further to see if some chance-sent things, like a lonely passerby, a cute cat or a roaring bus, would enter the image and lend it atmosphere.:-)

These are of course a matter of luck as well as patience, but recognizing and capturing such effects instantly (as opposed to "pre-arranging" an interesting scene) is quite a satisfaction...

Catch you later,:-)

Hugo
