"the tower of power"

a friend abroad asked me whether HK has changed much since the handover of sovereignty in 1997. I must say that I'm not a "polictical sensitive" person and I feel that we're enjoying just as much freedom. There's one dramatic change in the cityscape I noticed though; I'm seeing this tower, "Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR", almost everywhere in the western part of the Island...

That has to be one of the strangest looking towers I've seen Hugo...I'd be tempted to say it's an ugly building but you are seemingly incapable of making anything look ugly or boring with your photos :-)

I hope you and your family are all well and enjoying the weekend.

Ian, thanks for stopping by!!!:-)

Of the good, the bad and the ugly of HK I'm capturing, this is probably one of the most ugliest... But, like this structure or not, it's creating such a strong image and interesting relationship with neighbouring buildings that I have always been drawn...

Happy Father's Day my friend!:-)
